few chages from my original mermaid pic. first of all im a lot better now! lol
instead of the torso (human half) being like, welded on to the tail (fish half), i have them gradually merging into each other as opposed to a clear cut line deinfing where one starts and the other ends. I gave them irirs/pupils. before it was a totally black eyeball with some reflection in it.
one of the more intresting things is this time i went with a more of a color theme throughout the entire mermaid. the closer one had a more warm apperence, red/orange tail and fins, red hair, darker skin, red markings. and the one further back has a cool color scheme. blues and greens, lighter skin. i still tried to convey that curious, innocent look in their faces. i think it all went well.

^_^;; um...dont take this the wrong way i just gotta know.
would anybody actually pay for something of mine if i submitted it as a print? i dont think im that good yet, but i aspire to be. someday, i just wanna be good enough to be at the point were people will pay for my work. its not about the money. somday ill sell prints. but im not greedy, this is art. ill never draw just for money. but if anyone is intrested about this, or any other one of my pictures, just lemme know. i dont even want a commitment, just if it was a slight possibility.

now you may notice that this pic may be considered....revealing. but its not under the mature catergory. that because firstly, i omited a certain....detail to the breats that obviously should be there. but this isnt why they arent there. its not for censorhip. why would a fish-creature be milk producing? i did consider that when making this. and i believe for that reason it doesnt require the mature rating. if it were a picture of a fish,dog, or any other animal, it would be nude. why would this animal be any different?
sea shell bras just arent realistic and i think would take away from the picture. im not Disney.
